I have been playing around with sounds in Vital Synth, controlling rhythm and beat using the Laptop Pad Controller. Below are some photos to document the process, as well as a link to a short recording made while experimenting with Delay, EQ, tempo, distortion. I wasn't looking for any sound vibe in particular, I was just playing around with the controls and then kept developing further whatever caught my attention. In this case, the recording shows FM Drum Circle sound preset, modified with different levels of distortion, compressor, EQ, chorus and reverb.
