In my creative studio practice I will address some core aspects of colour, light and sound, to understand how they connect with each other and what states of affective valence they can potentially induce. My data-driven research is influenced by psychological theories such as resonance, affect valence, relevance and colour perception theories. I will focus on studying transformative audiovisual elements and try to understand how non-conventional applications of colour, sound and space can create something unexpected but still relevant to the context, aesthetically cohesive and bearing a certain emotional value. I will include studies on: optical illusions based on colour, sound in relation to colours, temporal and spatial transformative properties of the audiovisual in the context of a 3D environment.
