While writing this design journal throughout the semester, I will try to keep a balance between conceptual, technical and creative research findings. I will also address different topics from both an academic and a personal point of view, integrating interdisciplinary research findings and factual formulations with some more subjective speculation points. I will include these personal writings if and when my subjective point of view on the topic can be a starting point for further reflection on:

• how these research findings and class topics can positively affect and integrate my design practice and work.

• further explore each week's concept/topic to improve my design practice

• speculate concept, production and prototyping decisions regarding following assignments for this studio class.
