Week 1, first assignment: Create your own video
Edit two pre-existing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, take the VO from one and the images from another, mix them together and edit them so that they can match correctly, and create your own 2 minute video with a style and meaning different from the two previous ones.
In this case, I have used the images of "Alice's Wonderland" and then added the VO from the video "This is Marshall McLuhan - The Medium is the Message".
Below are some screenshot of the timetables in Premier Pro while I was editing the video.
I have also added a few sound effects at the beginning of the video (the sound of someone knocking on the door, to underline the scene when the little girl is knocking on the door before coming in the studio).
The video only lasts for 2 minutes, and I decided to match the meaning of ""This is Marshall McLuhan - The Medium is the Message" (where the main topic is about new media, communication and new technologies in the 20th Century, such as TV and animation), with the images of "Alice's Wonderland", a cartoon, an animated video from the 20th Century, which was a new means of communication made with new technologies at the time.
